Industry Credit Groups are made up of credit professionals from companies who share common customers. Most often, they are from the same industry— from companies that compete with each other—and ordinarily, federal antitrust laws would severely restrict the kind of information they could share. NACM South Central sets up meetings and reports for group members in such a way that they can legally share experiences. The information that each member can gather within the group is invaluable in helping them stay on top of changes in their own customer base. Most NACM groups meet regularly where convenient to members. At the meetings, members receive some background information on business credit topics from NACM, they update credit reports specially prepared for the meeting and they have an opportunity to ask questions or check on new customer situations. In effect, each meeting is a concentrated dose of professional education as well as, valuable data.
Interested in joining a group, please contact us, and let’s discover what NACM can do specifically for you.
